I can't figure out how to pop out the vanity light (above visor) to get the light bulb out. I know the gen 3 has a clip towards the inside of the car that releases the housing. I tried all sides and still can't get it out.

There is a slot to the left of the 6 o'clock spot for a flat blade screw driver.

I used a very thin steel rule, taking care not to damage the plastic lens. Good luck!

Plastic lens, to remove the housing there is a slot just above the 12 o'clock position.

That video is for Gen 3 model. The vanity light is the one that turns on by sliding open the visor mirror. I tried popping out the housing like this video and couldn't get it out.

I think I somehow got the housing to be a little loose when I tried popping it out from each side. It's not tightly against the headliner anymore. Any way to fix this?

In your picture there is a slot just above the 12 o'clock position where the housing meet the fabric, use the same screw driver and it should pop out.

I believe the housing has some metal clips that hold it against the fabric liner, you should be able to bend them outwards a little to get more tension.

Just the lens. There's a video on youtube (replacing wedge-bulbs with LEDs), check it out!

It's rather tight, but if you're careful it will come out

Hello. Can you, please, direct me how to get the light housing out and then put it back? Thanks.
