Hello guys, I applied for the California rebate and got an e-mail on 3/20 that it has been approved. How long before they send you a check...Does it take 90 days or longer or less..Thanks!!!

They say 90 days after approval. I don't know what it is in reality. Hasn't been long enough for mine for me to say.

Submitted my application on 11/22/16, received an email that it was approved on 12/21/16, received an email on 1/27/17 that the check has been sent, received the check on 1/31/17 (mailed from San Diego if I remember correctly).

Once you receive the email that the check has been sent, you'll see it in a few days.

Thanks for the info. BTW, it is coming from San Diego since the state out-sourced handling this rebate to a non-profit. The funds come from the state, but the paperwork is done by the non-profit.

I originally submitted my application for the California rebate on February 6th 2017. I just received notice that my check is in the mail, on May 5, 2017.
    Aw right!!!

I figured it's the least you can do for the less fortunate (me, on Social Security, so no fed. tax credit, and no state of Michigan incentives)

Thanks for the timeframe posts, everyone. I sent the forms online the 3rd week of April and it still shows processing, but from what others have posted, this seems normal. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks it'll show approved... though it may be mid-summer it looks like, before the check comes. At least they do it right by "reserving" the money once it's been submitted/approved so it won't get used up :)

Party at my house; I've got the band

    .

YEAH!!! Just got my California rebate Yeehaw. Hedin' for the bank to re-amortise my loan! I tell ya, I just love this car! Got bored looking at over 1/4 tank of gas, so I filled 'er up with a whopping 7.59 gallons of gas, after driving 2715 miles!!
Did I say that I love this car!!??!!
Oh, and J.D. Power just sent me a survey for this car. Hummm, I wonder what I'm gonna say??!! Har, har, har!

Congrats, HPAdv! Don't spend it all in one place!
Actually, if you set it aside for "gas money"... it will probably be all the gas money you'll ever need for the entire life of the car (and then some!)

I probably have another 2.5-3 months left before my rebate comes (it's only been about 2-3 weeks)..

By the way, how long is it taking people to get their CA HOV green stickers? Less time than the rebate?

I have them. I don't really like the looks of them. They are unpainted black plastic. They make the car look fat on the bottom. They also interfere with the jack positions.
