My afternoon commute (35 miles) is HV only (can't charge at work) and now that the weather is warmer, I'm mostly in the 65-75 mpg range. Haven't used A/C yet. Since you are a Prius owner, you should have no problem getting 60+. Granted, I don't go over 65 but on a long trip I would.

Well did the 70 mile round trip today up to LA, to help a great customer. Heavy traffic on the 5 Fwy North bound, even stopped for a while; speed ranged from 45 to 60mph, 74 degrees, A/C half the way. Coming home about same speed, no stopping and A/C all the way. There was about 10 miles each way of surface street driving. The real EV-only miles tonight after recharge is 37.7, Entune gave me 38 miles as shown by the pic below:

She's doing great! . I'm still trying to get to that 40 mile goal that someone else got!

    Cool! I've often seen 28 or 29, but I don't think I've seen 30 or higher.

UGH, you guys are killing me. I'm stuck at about 27 max. I get great mileage commuting to work since it's downhill, but it's impossible on the way home to get even the rated 25, since I have to climb so much and at usually high speed. Oh well, I guess I just have to deal with being Average.

My estimated EV miles have been going up with the warmer weather. But today I had 34.9 EV estimate and it was heavy rain all the way and only got 29.5. "Mama said there'll be days like this.";)

That would almost get me to work **and** back, instead of just to **or** back!

    AWESOME-SAUCE!

Thanks for answering my questions and providing that "long trip" info... it's all MOST encouraging! Even though we probably won't have our Prime / Premium in time for my trip to NC / SC / GA in late August, I'm already Googling compatible / public charging stations along my route.

I've found four so far (along the initial 600 mile trip to NC). My plan: Get a "to go" meal at some restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the charging station... drive to the station... plug-in... take my time eating my lunch / rest stop / etc... un-plug... continue on my way. Even if it's plugged in for only 30-45 minutes, that *could* provide an "additional" 5-10 miles EV-range... MORE than enough to get back up to highway speed AND make it through the next couple of towns (using EV mode) along my chosen route... ALL before stopping at another station (maybe 200-250 miles later on) where I'll repeat the process for my evening meal.

Thanks, #1 in Easley! But as I'll be getting the Prime / Premium, I just gotta' put this question out there: Does a similar image / display appear when the Premium has completed the charging cycle? I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes", and yet....

Alas, that image is from the Entune app and that part is only available on the Advanced. This is what you get with the Premium:

Whenever people (figuratively) laugh in my face (even still!) because I spent $5000-ish more for our '08 Prius than a similarly-sized "ICE" car and that I'd never get that money "back", I just tell them: "But I'm not TRYING to get that money back. I'm just minimizing how much gas I buy... minimizing how much money I give to "Big-Oil"....

And that's EXACTLY why I hope we have our Prime sooner rather than later... out of fear that #45 will somehow persuade / convince Congress to do away with the Fed Tax credits that were "extended" in 2015 (?) under President Obama... that are still available! (Ooops... they *ARE* still available... aren't they?)

Thanks, Prius from Dad... as far as I'm concerned, that's similar *enough* in terms of displayed information upon completing a charge cycle / in terms of showing estimated available EV range.

    Alright, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT:

As I've said before, the glass is half full.
I was driving almost 40 miles, round trip on the terrible 5 Fwy, from Anaheim to the City of Commerce, where the freeway is under construction. Stopped several times, speeds from 15mph to 50mph for most of the distance; A/C the whole trip, temperature is in the high 80's. The good thing is that I got to plug into 110V for 2hrs at the client's business; I was able to drive All Electric. The Entune screen is the charge result following this trip!! Now I still have to catch the gentleman who has hit 40 EV-only miles.
