Well I was trying to watch the last episode of Rake, and the only other subscription I have is (get this now!), Amazon Prime, but it doesn't offer Rake, which is a hysterical show!
I guess I'll go from Prime blabbing to Prime video, har, har!

:( just found out all my backlit buttons have no lights after the tint. Adjusted the instrument light settings but didn't work. :(

Edit: maybe the headlights are off?!?!
Edit 2: yep, was the headlights. It's been on Auto since first day lol... The tint shop turned it off.

    Well, that escalated quickly
Should have nothing to do with the tint. Maybe they did something at the tint shop?

This is interesting: Drove to the rowing club this morning -- a rainy morning (didn't get to row because of the rain; bummer!). On a sunny day, if we don't get to plug in, we usually either just barely make it back, or have to burn a mile or two of gas. This time, with the rain, we got back with 3-4 miles of range left!

I suspect it's a combination of driving slower on the way down, along with the temperature being lower, meaning less load on the air conditioner.

Definitely different from what I have observed over the years. The lower temp and less A/C use probably helped.

    That's actually good reliable number.
Reporting real EV range versus E-tune or car's estimates makes way much more sense.
At the end of the day the real world figures mattes.
From my experience I can tell that car's estimates are at least off by 10-15% on the optimistic side.

Regarding E-tune - I just ignore it - I consider it as Toyota's advertising tool. Lol
    Thx 4 feedback

That is impressive for 250 miles. It seems like your EV miles are going up after your long trip.(y)

In my experience, it's more like 10% on the pessimistic side.

For example, today I got in the car and it said I had 28.8 miles of range. I then drove 27.4 miles and when I stopped back where I started the car said I still had 6.8 miles of range left.

Well... then you must be way better eco-driver than me and better hat Prime's ECU. I have never been able to match the car's EV range estimates unless after long fast high speed stretch.

I find it to be on the pessimistic side also. A lot of the time I can get better than the estimate unless there are mitigating circumstances, ie. rain, wind, red lights and others. The estimate seems to go up slowly but go lower rather quickly with a bad day or two.

I just purchased a Titanium Glow Premium. Had a 2007 for 250k+ miles and loved it. I drove from NH to Boston and was able to get 33 miles on EV. This is by far the best car I have ever owned. Toyota made this car for me....I am very happy!

Hoping to get more EV miles per charge as I get used to driving it!
