Does this say the hybrid battery is 11.9 volts?

What are the trouble codes right now? Is it still the same P0AA6?

Within that window, click on the blue icon to the left of P0AA6. That will take you to another screen. Note the three-digit info code which is provided. That code will help to identify what component has the high voltage ground fault.

If you disconnect the 12V battery for a few minutes, then reconnect, you should be able to start the Prius once, even with P0AA6 logged. This assumes that the 12V battery is properly charged up.

Why not put the code retrieval on hold for a minute and check for turbulence in the inverter coolant reservoir?

In post 9, OP says the inverter pump is working. The car should start once after he disconnects the 12V battery for a few minutes. Maybe the car has developed another problem...

Or maybe I need to pay attention to what page I'm on and not comment on things that have been resolved already?

Yeah, and he has a P0AA6-526 code which is not very useful.

It starts now I didnt know I had to push down on the intelock but the system has the triangle just after a few seconds of turning on the vehicle. Going to test one more time this evening to make sure per JC91006 suggested.

No your not really. You have a high voltage ground fault which is usually cracked battery modules leaking electrolyte or a compromised winding in the transmission. Do you drive the car really really hard? Is it a salvage vehicle with salvage title?

The High Voltage fault can be reset by removing 12 volt power to the car. Not sure how your doing that but hopefully not unbolting the 12 volt negative lead as there's a safer easier method. And no sparks. At the 12 volt battery pry off the red cover on top of the positive battery post. It has 2 clips on the side. Then theirs 2 cables a big black one and small black on that assy that terminate to white plug in clips. One side of each clip has a little white lever. Squeeze the lever and simultaneously pull out the cable.. Make note where it goes. The 2 plugs are different sizes so you cant mess that up really but its a tiny bit confusing to re-insert the plugs the first time. Once you pull both those black leads the 12 volt has been electrically disconnected from the car. No sparks.

The only way I have been able to recharge a hybrid battery is to move it to another vehicle

I just spent the last four days 108 lacerations on my hands in triple digit heat replacing a water pump in a PT Cruiser. You can recover from resetting the computers a few times

Did you replace the broken motor mounts as well?
