I have been reading about excessive oil consumption in Gen 3 vehicles. My question is, "Could excessive oil consumption in Gen 3 Prius cars be correlated to location/climate conditions?"

Here's some input, hope it helps.
    2010 Gen 3, Trim V. 85,000 miles. 0-20 Mobil hybrid synthetic oil.
Daily commute is 100 miles at 70+ MPH, and about 10 miles at maybe 25-50 MPH.
I'm in the Nashville area. I don't burn any oil at this time.
