I didn't feel I would need the features that the Advanced provided. I wanted the upgraded seats and larger screen over the Plus but that was about it. I test drove the Advanced, but didn't see the value in the additional features.

You may loose out on Colorado $5,000 tax credit. It has to be registered in Colorado with the taxes paid per County.

I bought my Prime advanced in Western , NY and they put 30 day temp tags on my car and I drove it back to Colorado. I registered it in Arapahoe County and I get the $5,000 tax credit. If you buy the Prius Prime in Colorado, you can take the $5,000 off the price of the car and have the dealer get the $5k

Don't follow you. Care to cite the applicable part of CO HB 16-1332? The car is registered in Colorado, and has never been registered in another State. Jefferson County taxes have been paid per registration slip.

Where is everyone finding these Toyota incentives on the Prius Prime? I've hunted the Toyota site and only found a "Check your local dealer" notes, and of course my local dealer says there are no incentives?

Most, but not all dealers list the incentive on the local dealer website.

We're still $1000 here in Northern California this month. Local inventory also back up (scarce this time last month). Those discount in the northeast look mighty nice.

Many of Toyota offers are regional. You can check for current offer on any Toyota model here. Toyota Offers, Inventory, and Dealerships - Special Offers | BuyAToyota.com Just type in your zip code and click on offer and/or vehicle of interest. I just checked zipcode 79701 for your region. And there is no rebate or any offer other than military rebate for PRIME listed. Seems like you live in region where Toyota don't want to sell PRIME any more. Come to Northeast.;)

Gulf States Toyota region is "order it only." If there's one at a dealer it's already sold, so no test drives. They may let you sit in it with it on like I did. Incentives, hah! Go NE young man, go NE. ;) I ordered mine June 30, and it's expected to arrive late October.

Did they tell you if it was going to be a 2018 model?

I wonder what Toyota is thinking!!?? Other manufacturers are already pushing 2018's!! And I wonder how Kelly Bluebook is going to treat these cars in say, 5 years, with huge rebates, and late model-year releases!!

10 days ago when I purchased my new Prime Premium, my local dealer had 2 advanced and 1 premium in stock. I just looked at their current stock of PRIMEs. They now have 3 advanced and 1 plus. Two of advanced are different color than the ones I saw on the lot, so must be new. The are all flowing into NE.

Thanks for looking - guess they figure there is no demand for the PP in "oil country" but they are wrong, there are a lot of Prius and Tesla models out here in West Texas. In fact, one of my landowner clients bought one and told me "I sell it (the oil) to them, but I DON'T have to buy it (gasoline) back!"

Ouch - at this point, I may as well wait it out and see how the Prius Prime stacks up against the Honda Clarity Plug-In and the Ioniq Plug-In (sorry for the heresy in a Prius forum). I have loved our three Prii (had to look that one up) but have also had good luck with both Honda and Hyundai over the years.

I paid 25,500 for a Premium at Langway Toyota in Newport, RI before taxes. Additional 299 doc/plate fee.

Pearl white paint (which is exhibiting the paint peeling issue which seems so common on the Primes).

Yeah, you guys in Central, South, and Midwest are really getting the shaft, and that ain't no plug-in either!!
I'm sure glad I got my Prime since the availability of the Plug-in Honda Clarity appears illusory at best, and sorry but got no faith in the Hyundai plug-in.
I owned Hondas for some 30 years, but had to move to Toyota for the REAL hybrid. My 2012 PIP kept me satisfied til my Homerun Hybrid Prime Advanced arrived!. I guess it's do you go out of state for a car now, or do you wait 6 months or more to buy a car in your area?

Looks like prices in Europe have a negative effect on sales, IMO it's just a question of time when will we see bigger discounts here.

The two biggest markets for EVs in Europe:
    Netherlands: 35 sold YTD
    Norway: 197 sold YTD

If Toyota is serious about selling 200k units per year, then they better do something about it.
