How are you guys fitting your OCC in your engine bay? I tried finding room and there is literally no room to zip tie it anywhere and I don't want it dangling and shaking without it being secured. If you all did it, post it here :)

I removed the intake resonator and I can tell no difference in noise. It opens up lots of space

I was thinking to put it at the bottom, somewhere accessible when engine underpanel is off. Not sure if that'll be any better, and obviously not popular if you're not doing your own oil changes and not taking underpanel completely off every time.

@StarCaller : hilarious, that last picture speaks volumes.

did you drill a hole into the body? I have the same OCC like yours but I don't see a hole in that area...

I was thinking the same but I would hate having to remove the whole under panel if I want to check how much oil it accumulated lol...

See @danlatu 's OCC thread, he put it in near right corner (facing front of engine bsy), sort of adjacent to fuse box.

I'm liking starcaller location, I'll have to check it out some more. California weather this week is getting hot so I'll wait until next week to see if I can install it.

It actually rained a few drops here yesterday, we were at PNE (Pacific National Exhibition), that'll always trigger rain. First shower in maybe a month for us, really dry summer.

I just checked the location, the passgener side looks legit, it has 2 holes to mount the top bracket in place. I'll have to find time to film next week when it's cooler or so. :) thanks @StarCaller

Very secure, it's like running baja 1000 in a trophy truck here in the city. I am not sure how my suspension is still holding the wheels on. IMG_0171.JPG IMG_0173.JPG

How did you secure it in place? It looks like a pain trying to remove the canister from underneath... lol

LOL I remember doing something like that when I was younger. I would guess nowadays smog techs don't really bother looking hard during the visual part?

I think the area behind driver side headlight is perfect for the OCC, just that I will have to put my HID ballast somewhere else.

I don't know... it looks like a tight space for everything, I'm gonna try putting it by the passenger side since it's out of the way and onto a metal body frame.
