I wonder if you might be abe to get a new tire thru the road hazard tire warranty that came with the car. Might be worth a read of the tire warranty.

Don't think there is one. Only manufacturing defect warranty, through tire maker, not Toyota.

Except the warranty on my Gen 4 refers to the tire warranty. The warranty for my Bridgestone Ecopia 422 tires excludes OEM tires from the warranty.
IOW, there IS no warranty on the tires.

Not even manufacturing defects, through Bridgestone?

Took a look at mine, from Michelin, says:

"warrantied against defects in manufacture or workmanship", and that is pro-rated by tread depth.

I think if a person gets a flat tire with 50 miles on a new car. That calls for a couple new tires be they front or rear. Wherever the flat tire occurred. If you have 10k on a set of tires and the car, different story.
