    Hi Everyone,

Attached are the newest "how to" calibration and mode change videos.

How to Perform the Optional One-Time Calibration

    How to Change Driving Modes

Note that I misspoke at the 1:22 mark in the Change-Modes video. During the boot sequence, SmartPedal will flash the ORANGE led a number of times equal to the current driving modes. (In the video I said "green.")

If any questions, or suggestions for improvement, please post here or send a PM. Please also post your results when you can—and thank you for your purchase.

    Best,
    Marc

You might want to tag @Pedal Logic to be sure Marc answers. I just tagged him for you.

    Hi @Tande

Alas, in the Gen4 Toyota uses a completely new connector, so your original unit will not fit. We have a design for Gen4 connector, but the production parts won't be in hand for about three months. When we do have them, we can swap your original unit for a new unit for the Gen4. There's a modest charge for it, but we pay the inbound and outbound shipping, plus the sales tax.

If you'd like to go this right, PM me and I'll send you the details, including a URL to start the process.

    Best,
    Marc

P.S. I took ProdigyPlace's suggestion too and tagged your name in the intro.

The tag did not work. As you start typing after the “@“ you get a drop down to choose the user. Like this. @Tande
You also misspelled the username. :D

Fixed now—thank you. Typos like that are just one of the reasons why I'm not a good candidate for social media.

If you are using a web browser, in @Pedal Logic 's post , click the "Start a Conversation" link under their username. Or, in the upper right, the mail envelope next to the alert flag is where you start a conversation. That is also where you reply to one.

On a forum, PM stands for Private Message. The forum menus here call them conversations, just to be confusing.

I wanted to add, speaking from experience with these, I highly suggest buying a telescopic mirror at an auto parts store so you can sit in the seat and watch while setting or changing settings.

Believe me, it makes things much easier, especially for a bigger person (such as myself). It took me 1 time to look for an easier way.

Or you can just not worry about it;).

I haven't looked at the light pipe since install, and the mpg I am getting (~52) is the same:). If it drops down to 47 mpg, then I know there is a problem as that was the mpg before install and would indicate an issue with the device;).

    Otherwise I just drive(y).

I have to worry about it if it's an install or changing modes.

Perhaps @Pedal Logic could offer it as an accessory if you have a model you like.

I just got it (first one wasn't making a difference) and haven't used the reflashed one long enough. Only 1 tank on Mode 3.

Just any expanding one would do. Not expensive.
