Hello all, picked up a 2012 Plug in Prius Advanced and am really loving it. Getting 85mpg on my first tank so far. Happy to be part of the plug in crowd now! Had a Gen 2 Prius with 250k miles on it.

After I bought it and was messing around with everything when I got home, I was surprised to see that it had only been plugged in a handful of times in it's 77k miles. The lifetime stats showed 181 EV miles to 76,815 miles. Hoping this means my battery is like new haha, seems pretty good so far.

I bought mine with a ratio similar to yours. I hope it means the same for my battery.

Congrats to all three of you! And welcome, DelPrius & Geo.

I got mine last December. It was more like 40-60 EV-HV. I reset it when I got it. I guess I'm running about 45-55%. So far, PiP batteries seem to be holding up very well. Good thing. I'll bet they cost a ton to replace. :D

Glad you finally found a charger. You might want to update your personal info. It still show you have a 2015 model one.

It may be good for the battery that it was barely used. But I'm not convinced it's a good or bad thing for the car. What I mean is you got 77k HV miles on your 77k odometer car. At 77k, my PiP only had 57k HV miles and 20k EV miles on it. Trading miles from EV to HV: Is that a good thing? I don't think there is enough data to say one way or the other given few if any PiP battery replacements this far.

Anyway, you made a great choice. 136k miles on my 2012 with 25k EV currently. No issues whatsoever. 10.2 EV miles indicated this morning versus 11.3 when new. DW drives the car now vand she has a much lower EV ratio than when I drive it because she doesn't get to charge at work.

I drove it this morning with a full charge for the first time. It showed 11.7 miles of range. I was able to actually get 12.1 EV miles in a 50/50 mix of low speed (35mph) and high speed (60mph) driving. Really loving this car! Really like the JBL sound system especially, as it sounds much better than the JBL system in I had in my Gen 2 Prius.
