@Mark57 , many thanks for all the great information. I'm thinking of getting a third SG-II and using it just for the TPMS info on my 2009 Gen II. I checked the firmware of both my SG-IIs and find that both have 4.13, which (according to customer support is still OK for my Gen II (see threads passim - see Question about ScanGauge-II and observation about Traction Battery condition... | PriusChat

    and - thanks again Christina!)

(heads off to search for third SG-II…)

You're welcome. Whey not send in your current ones for a free update on both then all three would match. They you don't have to remember which has what.

Update for 2016-2017 owners. James now has my SGII and has made progress on the code for the 2016-2017 Prius and Camry. Once mine is on the way back to me, and I do a quick test, I'll let everyone know here.

Giving the matter some thought, if (as I hope) the 4 TPMS X-Gauges behave in a similar way to all the others, it should be relatively easy (although somewhat tedious) to cycle through each of the X-Gauges in each of the 4 positions, placing each one as needed! (…just a thought!) (…still waiting for my #3 SG-II, although with the colder weather on the horizon, I'm thinking of putting the winter snow-shoes on in the next week or so and they don't have TPMS (I checked with my mechanic today and asked about TPMS in NH, and was told not mandatory at moment but it will eventually become law (apparently it is already, or in the process of being brought in, down in Massachussets!)  ;)

Well, here's the latest: After giving it some thought, I worked out that at the moment it is likely to cost at least $100 for another SG-II, and with the snow season almost upon us, I saw another thread here on PriusChat about TPMS and suitable solutions, and came across this:

So, one is on its way as I write this (to be delivered tomorrow! …amazing since it was ordered just yesterday!) $82, and I'll be able to use it on the winter shoes also! Nice, easy solution! …check it out! :)

The forum is not displaying new images/links right now, so I can't see what you're referring to above. The site does this about every 48 hours or so. I'll check back to see if I can see what you are referring to tomorrow.

Which image might that be? (…pardon my ignorance, but it still works perfectly at my end, and I've not seen any problems with this site save for the database errors which seem to occur early in the morning or late at night! …nor have I seen any problems occurring every 48 hours! o_O )

Oh, BTW I didn't post an image, I posted a link, so perhaps the image to which you refer is that associated with the amazon link, in which case, your point is misdirected! Perhaps checking with amazon will provide the answer? BTW the link/image still works at this end!:whistle:;)

No link/image from amazon. Oh well. Doesn't matter.

Click on the camera under your profile picture on the left of your post and you will see all the images you uploaded, default is reverse chronological order.

Until this site fixes it self and it eventually will, just describe "in words" what the link was pointing to.

When the site is broken and I need to post an Amazon link, (lately, every time) I change the https to hxxps. PriusChat seems to append an https after the hxxps and displays a valid link, without the failed attempt at a preview.

The downside is you cannot edit the posting without the link breaking back to the blank preview. :(

Sorry, my InterNet connx down all day, wx related power outages accorning to my ADSL provider. This posting via tablet, so apols for spelling mishtooks etc.
    The Amazon link is:

    hxxps://http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N2TSELY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The item is a CACAGOO TPMS monitoring systeym. It arrived today, and I was mightily impressed by the quality of the manufacturing and the components. Tomorrow we'll have to see how well it works. More later!
