That's great. You should start a separate thread, with pics to keep the discussion going with your testing and in one place so it does not get lost in the ScanGuage II discussion. I'm interested to follow your results.

All, there should be something new on the 2016 - 2017 Gauges pretty soon. I'll post back here.

Great idea! I'm still having connex probs, but by spending $83, I've achieved what I was trying to do, the 2 SG-IIs I had my eye on each went for $100+ and that was without the new firmware u/g, and as @Mendel Leisk pointed out my dash is getting a bit crowded!  ;)

Got my two scan gauges back from updating a couple of days ago, and while they had them I asked them about the individual TPMS code inclusion since they were already there. I am curious too that as I recall while testing one of them yesterday, that the upgraded firmware is 4.45. Anybody check theirs that have been recently updated?

I don't have mine back yet. James DeLong is the engineer working on this and right now, he's still working on the 2016-2017 code. He was holding mine so I could test it and then let everyone know here.

I'll post here ASAP when I get it back with firmware version number, etc.

As promised, my SGII is on its way back to me. I will I be testing tire pressure and I will also be testing tire temperature.

The vehicles this test will apply to are the 2016-2017 Prius (all), 2014-2017 Camry Hybrid, 2014-2017 4Runner. Results as soon as I receive it.

Thanks to James DeLong, Linear Logic LLC, Development Engineer

This won't limit me using my ScanGuage on another vehicle temporarily, e.g. to check codes on a friend's car, right?

Not at all. These are just added X-Gauges. Codes function is not touched.

...as the more observant readers will have noticed, the only potential problem might be the white case causing a distracting reflection in the windshield! Still, nothing that cannot be fixed with a drop of black paint!

I'd be tempted to buy a 2nd unit for this purpose... if they could be daisy chained! :)

I have 2 SG-IIs daisy chained with 6" CATV link (see pics) the only minor snagette is that each SG-II has to be programmed individually (i.e. prog info doesn't trickle through! :()

I just got my SGII back from LinearLogic today. They have to be the best at customer support and repair turnaround time! My unit was shipped back out on the day that it was received. Thanks to LinearLogic and James Delong for offering us the testing opportunity.

I now have the tire pressure and temperature data for my car. None of my other Xgauges were disturbed.

Thanks also to Mark57 for this thread and making us aware of this offer.

    ATTENTION 2016 - 2017 Prius SGII owners!!

I have received my SGII back with the completed code for the 2016 - 2017 Prii. It works great! I have both the tire pressure and tire temperature for my 2017 Prius Prime (same as 2016 Prius).

As per the first post of this thread, you are now able to send your SGII back and get it updated for free. See the instructions in post number 1 of this thread.

    2017 Prime Tire Pressure:

    2017 Prime Tire Temperature:
    2017 Prius 20171107_094647.jpg

YES, the pressure is low. They were 37/36 PSI and we have a major temperature drop last night. I've not aired them back up yet. The vehicle is garaged so those are not the true (35°) outside the garage temps.

I have no relationship to Linear Logic LLC., but I'd like to express my sincere thanks to James DeLong, the Development Engineer for making this offer to all of you possible.

...me neither, but I've found their Customer Service to be about the best out there, they're most helpful and their main concern is customer satisfaction as I've mentioned in previous comments! :)

I would guess until it is integrated in the next software release.
    Just a WAG though.

I've already asked with a few other questions and am waiting on an answer. @Prodigyplace is correct. Once this firmware goes production, this offer will end. I'd say, don't wait very long if you want it free.

Quote from James: "I'm working on finalizing the firmware so it's still technically experimental, but if anyone with a Prime would like to get their unit updated to the special firmware needed to get TPMS data they can just send it in with a note indicating they'd like the TPMS update for their Prime." (and/or 2016)

All, if you already have a SGII and think you might want a second one, I'd be sure to get your current one flashed so you don't have to remember later which one has the ability for the most recent XGauges.
