2017 Prius Prime First Drive: Best Prius Ever

Any standards followed likely call for having the seats positioned to sit a dummy that represents 75th percentile of the population in size, or some such.

 

I might've missed it but how well do these lights do driving at night especially around corners. Some of the luxury cars have options like adaptive headlights where the lights turn into the corner. This was one of the reasons why I was looking into a Mazda 3 S Grand Touring trim because it had safety features in luxury cars but at an economical price.

 

our 2006 hybrid SUV lexus had that feature - so yea - the feature has been around for over a decade now.

 

I agree it's not a new feature but it's also not available on all cars. I only mentioned the Mazda3 because it competes in the economy segment. Your hybrid lexus would be classified as a luxury car and safety features such as adaptive headlights, blind spot monitoring,rear cross traffic alerts, auto dimming mirrors, etc. were available options on luxury vehicles when they first came out. It's great that the Prius Prime is able to have some of these features now.

 

I thought we were talking about Prime - seemed like the Lexus was less of a tangent

Why, cause the Prime has those two luxury rear seats?

Do any actual Toyotas have the turning headlights?

 

Avalon?

Dear what is periodically check item of Prius engine and system of failure of ABS system

 

I gather that the European Prius Prime does.

I do confirm, EU version has turning headlights w/ adaptive LED matrix technology. No headlight washers, though.
