Yeah, good idea. I thought about a note but kept thinking I would not see it again and I did not want to come off as weird if the person who owned the car was not as up on it as we are here. Who wants to be seen as a Prime stalker?

I'm as surprised by it as you are.

Given the Prime isn't a specialty car or a car owned by a car enthusiast, it might come off as weird if it was just the general public who has no interest in car forums or interacting with other Prime owners.

Woo hoo! Saw a different Prime tonight at Park and Coit, and chatted with the owner briefly. It's his second Prius. He had to special order it, and he hasn't seen many Primes in Plano, either. I don't think he's a member here, though.

We encountered a Prime on Sunday, next to it at a stoplight in downtown Minneapolis. That provided the first time ever opportunity to yet out the window for owner comment! It was from out of state and the two inside were really excited to give out we owned two.

We saw another today on the commute to work in the burbs.

Still have not seen another Prime. Had mine for 6 months. Also, until today, I hadn't spotted a Chevy Bolt. But then today, two silver Bolt's entered our parking lot within a minute of each other, and parked within 10 feet of the other. I chatted with one of the proud owners and she asked if I wanted to sit in the driver's seat and turn the car on and have an extended look-see. I think she might have even allowed me to drive it a short distance. Great offer, but I was working at the time; otherwise I would have.

Primes, though, just not showing up on the road around here. Yet. Weird thing is, I have a front row set to spot one. I work at a California based upscale grocery store, and at any given time, we're going to have 10+ Prii and 2 or 3 Teslas in the parking lot during open hours. Perfect demographic for it to happen. You'd think a Prime would have found it's way to us by now.

I've seen only a half dozen (not multi-counting one spotted several times at a Park-N-Ride when carpooling for hikes) in the wild in the greater Seattle area. But I'm currently not out on the local roads very much when home.

The spouse spotted one first, many months ago at her gym, talked with the owner (purchased in Portland OR) and gave her blessings to consider it. :D(y) Then she saw another on my flank, but I didn't have the grill memorized then and missed it. Would probably still miss recognizing it in the right-hand mirror.

Saw my first one on the road today heading into downtown Salt Lake City this morning. I make that commute 5 days a week and finally a sighting . If everything goes Ok, I’ll have mine before the end of the year.

Finally roads I recognize! I grew up in Plano. Hopefully you will start seeing another Prime driving around there shortly! (If it would hurry up and get here!) LOL

I finally saw our local token Prime again the other day. I hadn't seen it in months.

On a side note, it was a bit of a shock during the two weeks we were in central Ohio (north of Columbus) to hardly see any Prii of any kind. It was rare to see two in a day. Here, I usually see two at each traffic light.

I purchased a blue Prime last month. Yesterday I saw my twin in Venice, FL! “Rule of Two. Darth Sidious and Darth Vader, practitioners of the Rule of Two. "Always two there are; no more, no less. ... The Rule of Two was a Sith philosophy mandating that only two Sith Lords could exist at any given time: a master to embody the power of the dark side of the Force, and an apprentice to crave it.”

I'm so excited - I (finally) saw a Prime here in Atlanta!! It was silver and stuck in traffic at the I285-I75 N ramp about 5:30 PM today. Whoever you are, I hope you eventually got through that mess!
(And, if you happen to see this, come visit us at the Atlanta Metro Prius Group!)

Saw my second one today in the Salt Lake area heading to dinner. It was a blue one.

Hey it's a bit off topic, but check out the side-by-side and tell me which is the elegant, suave, swoopy, luxury car!! Hint: it ain't the one on the right!!
    20171217_212315.jpg
What have they done to the "Haguar" (you have to remember, we're in Little Mexico down here, and a "J" is pronounced "Ha" (har, har!); it looks like a bulbous Oldsmobubble!! I used to sell them when they still looked elegant. They're still as unreliable, but now they looks like turds with wheels!!

    .
The Prime is strikingly more elegant particularly in profile view!!

Oh. I was going to say the one on the right until you blurted out the answer.

Not much; they're in the $55,000-$65,000+ price range! They've never heard the word "rebate"!
Buy 2, they're cheap, har har! And when one of them breaks down, you'll hopefully have the other as backup! As the saying goes, "Some people have more money than sense!"

I finally saw my 3rd - 8th Primes in Santa Monica over New Years. From LAX in I saw none, until we pulled into Loews and there were two parked at the front door checking in. The others were entering/leaving the old muscle beach parking area.
