New user here - I hope I have posted in the correct subforum!

Recently my car was reversed at low speed into another car (I wasn't driving and parking sensors were working at that time!). Since then the sensors have not been working. There is a different pitched beep for about 5 second then a solid tone for about 10 seconds then nothing.

I think I can see which sensor was damaged. Can the individual sensor be replaced? I have installed a new set of parking sensors on a Skoda Fabia previously. If a sensor can be replaced could a keen amateur do it??

    Thanks

Your profile says “2011 Prius,” so I’m assuming that your Prius was produced before the minor model change in December 2011, and that it is fitted with the Toyota Parking Aid (TPA) system offered as a dealer-installed accessory in Europe.
Yes, I think so, though you may have to buy a set of four sensors, even if you only replace one. The Accessory Installation Manual documents for TPA Front (RHD) and TPA Rear are available for viewing in PDF at no charge on toyota-tech.eu. According to these manuals, a kit of four sensors has Toyota part number PZ464-00422-**, where ** is 00 for an unpainted black sensor, AB for one with primer only, or an abbreviation for the car’s three-character exterior paint color code (e.g., 040 for Super White II):
Sensor Kit Part Number Exterior Paint Color Code
    1 PZ464-00422-00 Unpainted Black
    2 PZ464-00422-AB Primer Only
    3 PZ464-00422-BA 040

I don’t see why not; see the instructions linked above.

Thanks so much for your really helpful info I've had a quick look for the spares. Don't think I'll get a colour matched one so will probably just have to spray it.

    Thanks again
