I would like to open all doors from the passenger side and rear hatch. Have pressed the 2 buttons and can toggle between driver door only or all doors but only from the drivers side.

What is it I am missing?

2008 Prius defaulted to 3 doors unlocking all 5, and the manual seems to suggest I can do this though in practice I am failing.

    Help.

    Thanks

Some models of the Prius Prime don’t have an electrical key antenna on the front passenger door. The sales brochure (PDF) says the Plus has “Smart Key System on driver’s door with Push Button Start,” while the Premium and Advanced have “Smart Key System on three doors with Push Button Start and remote illuminated entry” (page 22; emphasis added).

Incidentally, hoe were we to know you have the Plus? Your profile still lists the 2008 Prius.Since you referred to it in the past tense, I assume you traded it in.

    Sorry.
Sometimes people get creative when they own several cars pertinent to this site. Quite a few have three.
There is another thread where, among other things, we are suggesting some modification on this.

If you have a Prime, 2017 plus, upon grasping the door handle, the drivers door unlocks immediately. If you hold your hand on the door handle another 2 seconds, all doors and trunk will unlock. Otherwise one can always use it as a regular Fob, double click.

You can also change your settings so one touch of the handle or fob button press unlocks all doors.

Yep can't recall off the top of my head but I think that's one of the settings you can do yourself. I have Carista, so some settings I adjusted with the app. That's one of the first things I changed. Touch the Drivers door and they all unlock at once.

Yep no Carista required. It’s just in the vehicle settings.

Unfortunately, the Gen 4 has 2 different Settings menus. One on the MID and one on the MFD.

Danny, did you find a solution or is the answer that the Prime Plus can only be unlocked from the driver's door handle?

Prime plus, which is what I have ( the basic model ) right? all doors can be opened at door handle, first signal is drivers door only, hold door handle for maybe one more second and all doors unlock, and trunk.

They appear to want 3 door SKS though. The Plus only has drivers door SKS. The answer is in post 2 but people here seem to post in a thread without reading all the posts.
