Actually , it was just a cut off section of exhaust hose. The type auto shops use to route the car exhaust to outside while running the car inside . We just had it laying around in the shop. Worked great for a temporary fix .

There's no need to disconnect the throttle body coolant hoses. Maybe @NutzAboutBolts could edit his video, put some text on the screen saying this? You can unbolt it, disconnect the electrical leads, disconnect the hose running from gas vapour connection (I believe this is what it is, not coolant, anyway), then just pull the throttle body, complete with attached coolant hoses, up and over to the right, tie it to the inverter or whatever with some twine.

I bought the $4 bag at Lowe’s when I was there last;).

Should have enough in there for the next couple of years(y).

So OCC received. And today after work i pick up PCV tube from dealer.
Maybe tomorrow i can install this, but not sure if i have time.

OCC pack was missing one smaller port, there was 3 x larger and one smaller + one smaller for filter.
I ended up using filter port since filter went to trash.

Added RST mesh to input ports to act as catch up filter.

    OCC pictures:

I bought a three pack of Scotchbrite stainless steels pads. Used 1/4 of one. I figure that's about a lifetime supply for this application.

You may want to consider adding more of an obstruction than the screens. The stainless steel scrubber I used in the post above is working really well in mine.

Yeah i try to look what i can find while i go grab some oil/fuel line tubes.
But i don't want to make too tight mesh/baffle, just to avoid to get it all frozen after night etc.

    That should work well;).

I went with a little tighter mesh (Lowe’s had about 6 different strands).

But it all helps increase residence time (y).

The trick is to increase residence without increasing resistance to flow too much.

Since we are flowing air in a baffle-less vessel that is not liquid full, we should be fine;).

If any of those factors are present though, resistance would be a worry(y).

Or if the mesh clogs up / gets frozen. I know California people do not need to worry about that, At least not like those in Maine, for instance.

The mesh hasn't frozen even in sub-zero (F) temps. But even if it did freeze some, my thought is that it wouldn't create a solid block that would totally obstruct air flow. Plus any ice crystals would quickly thaw with heat from the crankcase.

We have more sub-zero overnight temps forecast for this weekend and into next week. I'll try to take some pics and document my observations in this thread.

    Should be interesting.

    The more data the better;).

    Look forward to your observations(y).

Thanks, I lived in Toronto Canada for many hears and have visited Maine briefly in winter.
I guess that is why I think of this more than those in sunny California.

Oil/fuel line bought, clamps bought, extension parts bought(these was suprisely hard to find. I finally found some pneumatic air connectors what were ok for this. Just could not find any extensions what were not plastic).

Totally forgot to look any baffle material.

Oh, yeah years ago i was seriously into photographing with old pentax to film and dia and later digi:) These pics are just mobile phone photo snaps. Maybe lighting and clear background makes it look nice.

    Honestly, thank you:)

I wish I had more time, I think it’ll be another year before I be posting anything on YouTube.

Did the OCC black hold down bracket mount came with the kit? I bought one similar style and it didn’t come with anything but the OCC kit minus the hold down bracket.

Bracket is 3D printer from @danlatu 's thingverse files.

I had it printed from 3DHubs from ABS.
Seems it shrinked quite bit. I had to cut it much so can fitted inside and now i think if its going to hold anymore. Mostlikely i use somethig else for installing it and later replace it then with something better.

Today is the OCC installing day o/
