Good news: site is very stable, for quite some time now.
Bad news: trying to refresh a page, go to a linked page, seems to occasionally cause a complete blank. Sometimes another refresh request, it loads. Or not, say for 2~3 minutes.

Perhaps a problem with an ad loading? I user to see things stall trying to contact the ad services. The page will not load without the ads.
Today, I had an issue with my iPad where it took a while to post a reply and I saw no progress bar. I ended up posting multiple times. This is the first time in a long time I had this issue.

I think I notice it more on my pc than on my phone (if at all). On the PC I'm alternating between a couple of ad blockers. Yeah not sure.

Clicked on alerts, then left it to play FreeCell. Took about 5 minutes, then suddenly loaded.

Meh, assume we're all just talking talking among themselves.

I'm using an awe-inspiring blocking browser of Android tablet. No problems at all since the recent site-performance-boost.

The Samsung Internet beta for Android can use multiple ad blockers and seems to work well.

Better than the app, which I downgraded to by sucking the .apk off a device I didn't upgrade and sending over by Bluetooth. Sorry, I don't like spam.

At one stage I was using the voice recognition on my Samsung S2 to send Facebook massages - the arthritis in my thumbs was particularly bad at the time. It was terrible for errors - not only did it auto-correct, but it didn't always hear me clearly.

It only goes to show we need a healthy dose of mistrust in auto-technology! o_O

    You said auto-technology.
Do you mean automotive technology, automatic technology, or automatic automotive technology?
Perhaps some combination of the above?

Simple answer: yes! Probably all of the above. I've been practicing scepticism for a few years now and it has served me well, except when trusting auto-corection.

@Danny @tideland or anyone; just at present, for me, trying to "like" a post is completely glacial. Near unresponsive.

As a skeptic, I have to assume your auto-correction is turned off...

    (I call mine auto-wrong)

Did you know the word "wrong" is spelled wrong in the dictionary????

His auto-correction is correct. @RCO lives in the UK. "Skeptic" would be incorrect there.

    But his "auto-corection" is incorrect.
Don't you hate typoing when trying to correct somebody else?
