Broken Seat Extension Bracket

    I have seat extension brackets for my 2007 drivers seat. Purchased from the Priuschat Shop many years ago. One day getting in, felt the seat move. Upon inspecting, the right side bracket broke at the front seat mount. Has this happened to anyone else? Looking at the new brackets, the design looks updated.

    I've tried emailing, calling and texting the shop with no luck. Not sure there is any warranty, probably not. Was hoping maybe a discount for 2nd set? I need to get these ordered asap.

    Sorry for the dirty pics, it's been very cold here in the Chicagoland.. finally getting warm enough to get her all cleaned up soon

    Looks like it would be a five minute job for someone who TIG welds. The seat would have to come out to do it.

    I would look in the phone book or a lot of hobby welders out there with MIG welders that could repair it.

    Maybe a high school welding class.

    That's an idea.. i have a friend that welds. Not sure what kinda steel this is?
