    Is it an option anywhere - I haven't seen it mentioned.

    I'd be nervous if it did, as it opens very high, and I like to check that it isn't going to hit something above (as it has a couple of times).

    After having powered tailgates on previous cars I much prefer being in control of how my tailgate opens and manual is definitely quicker opening and closing.

    SWMBO would love that feature on her Gen 2, its hatch is stiff to open and close.
