How many miles you got on your pIP?

High mileage isn’t what you need yet probably.

Just the regular 0w-20 will work.

 

I got some where around 35K miles on my PiP.. Thanks for your quick attention..

 

I thought you were in the lower mileage range .

5 quarts of 0w-20 will give you some extra.

You got an oil filter?

 

Weather here is very bad, thinking of not driving that far. I may not show up.

Want to thank everyone for recommendations for engine replacement, I have had zero luck so far, everyone wants $8K and no one does used motors

 

One member had some luck with Maxat in Sacramento. I think they wanted $3k for the job but not sure if that was for the labor or also the engine and labor. I know @Joele3 was going through a decision on engine replacement, so maybe he’ll chime in.

Worth a call though.

Jobs completed:

• Oil and engine coolant change for @PriusFruit ’s Gen2
• Trans drain and fill in @Pedal Logic ’s Gen3
• Oil change and rear brake pin lube on @grid ‘s Gen3
• Egr pipe cleaning (which revealed the next steps), headlight bulb replacement, MAP sensor and MAF sensor cleaning on @priusSF1329 ’s Gen3
• TRD rear sway bar install and passenger seat beep and reverse beep change on @Spooled ’s Gen3

So a busy day.

Any of you guys happen to be going over the altamont today around 430-440 in a white PiP with black or dark gray aftemarket wheels (looked like 17s, we were moving so I couldn’t say for sure). Saw it on my commute and was curious lol.

 

So it’s been about a month since the last meetup. I know I have gotten a couple of PMs from some asking about the next meetup, so let’s see what we can put together .

Most upcoming weekends work for me, but not sure what works for others.

And anyone want to host?

 

Will sign up for an oil change, unless taken care of before the next meet up.
