    Hello everyone. My name is John. I just bought a 2018 Prius 2 last Tuesday in sea glass pearl, my favorite color. My previous Prius was a 2008 model in that same color. Love it!     I suspect you will enjoy your new Prius at least as much as your older one. I have 15K miles on my 2017 2.
    You have additional safety features on yours.

    Thanks, I will. I'm still learning about all those safety features. Quite impressive. The first time I parked it in my garage, I heard a barrage of chimes and bells coming from the car and then it told me to brake and it braked automatically! I got a big kick out of that. I have a small one car garage with shelves and cabinets so the Prius fits just in but what a symphony.

    Thank you. Yes they've come a long way. I also paid about the same for my '18 Prius than for my '08 Prius! Also congratulations on your Prius.

    Cool! I see a lot of Priuses everyday. We have a few of them at work as well. One of my colleagues drives a 2017 Prius 2. She's always talking about how much she loves it.

    Wasn't that color called Silver Pine Mica on the Gen 2? I don't ever recall Sea Glass being available on Gen 2. Am I going crazy?

    Congratulations on the new car. Good choice on the colour too. But it drives me crazy. Some say it's green, some say it's blue. I see it as light robins egg blue. True "seaglass" is green (look at the edge of the glass).

    Yes it was. I happened to keep the window sticker from my 2008 Prius. It was Silver Pine Mica. I had forgotten. Sorry for the confusion.

    I see it as more of a green than blue. Maybe it's in the lighting, sunshine vs. night. In the daytime it could look more green and at nighttime more blue. I don't know other than I love the color.

    Sorry, I messed up on the color of my'08 Prius. It was Silver Pine Mica!

    We only get 2 colours in Gen 4 (plus Black, 2xWhites, 2xGrey/Silvers).

    I seem to recall that Silver Pine Mica used to be called Pistachio. I can see the Silver Pine, which is a pine tree.
