everyone! I got some problems with a 2008 Prius with 326410miles on it.

History: first and foremost, the AM2 fuse blew, and I had to go fix that fuse. While removing it for replacement, I saw some bit of corrosion in the inlet where the fuse normally inserts into. Cleaned em up, and replaced the fuse. Everything was OK; vehicle was able to get into READY mode and was driven by the owner.

1.Some days after the fuse was replaced, I discovered that all the lights came onboard: red brake light, check engine, ABS, red triangle caution sign with a statement, "saying transmission blablabla, park, and call dealer". For this particular transmission blablabla issue, I discovered the stock 12V aux Toyota battery, was discharged. Wasn't holding enough capacity to power the car's electronics, and that's y we got the " park, transmission blablabla message ". I tested the resting voltage using tech stream, and also my digital meter, to be sure of both results. I got 8.38volts. I had to jump start the car, using 2 HV battery modules. Car started, and everything was OK.

This morning, I came to take another measurements with my voltmeter, discovers the voltage was 12.47V. When READIED, it got to 13.59volt. When I put the car off, it dropped to 12.14V. These readings tells me the battery needs to be replaced.

    2. For the ABS, brake lights
Scanned the car, and got following codes:

C1203: engine control system communication circuit
C1241: Low battery voltage positive voltage or abnormally high battery positive voltage.
C1345: Not learning linear valve offset

    3. For the engine codes
P0420: talks about the catalytic converter.
This, we'd replace as time goes on.

    4. Transmission code
C2318: low voltage error(power supply malfunction).

After I did the JumpStart, I cleared all the codes with my tech stream.
The engine codes, disappeared; C1203, and C1241 disappeared. But C1345 did not disappeared.

I have done the linear offset several tines, without success. It appears the skid module for the ABS isn't responding to the commands sent by tech stream.

**The brakes still are effective. They are not hard, and do easily stop when applied. But as it's applied, you feel as if the rear brakes tends to want to stick for few second D's or so.

    Question?!
Does this mean the skid control module has to be replaced, or its the abs actuator assembly?

    Thanks for your replies.

PS: I also noticed that the inverter coolant isn't showing any sign of turbulence. It appears that might be the reason y the AM2 fuse blew in the first place(shorted out).

There's something strange I also noticed:

Does it mean, if the inverter pump fails, does it translate to the storage tank at the driver side, making some kind of humming or hissing sound, when the car is switched off? I hear a humming/hissing sound on the storage tank pump. Does the suggests that the storage tank pump isn't getting coolant from the inverter pu.l, that's y its making such a Moise after every putting the car off?

First off, the blown AM2 fuse and the lack of turbulence means the inverter coolant pump is not working. Replace the inverter coolant pump.

If you haven't already, replace the 12 V battery. You need a good and reliable 12 V supply on these cars, or else you will end up chasing your tail.

Once you have done these two jobs ensure that all codes are cleared and then see if the cat and ABS codes come back, then take it from there.

No, these are not related. The CHRS is in the ICE coolant loop, not the inverter. You may just have air in the ICE coolant loop, ensure it is bled properly, particularly air in the CHRS canister. Search for Patrick Wong's excellent post on changing the ICE coolant. It has excellent information in regards to bleeding the air out of the entire system,

    Thanks for the replies.

We'd get the inverter pump replaced immediately.

I'd also try to bleed the ICE of any air bubbles in it, and see if the hissing stops.

But y is it that after all attempts in trying to erase and even so linear offset stuff, the computer keeps bringing up the "not learning linear offset" statement? I'm beginning to feel the skid control module might be malfunctioning?

Tgansk for your insight once again.
