Tutorial: How to remove the MFD

    I took the graphic from other instructions and put it all in one page.

    The first time maybe channeling the second time it felt as a piece of cake and completely removed in 5 minutes.

    Tool needed; Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket wrench.

    Hi svtale75, are you able to share the graphic? How to manually remove the MFD in my prius 2011 so I can re-insert the SD card. I cannot open it (NSDD-W61). Initial problem was a locked screen. This led to removing the SD card, I closed the screen but now fails to open. Although the touch screen button responded to close, it no longer responds to opening.

    Welcome to PriusChat.

    The OP (original poster) has not been seen on PC in over 5 years, and in any case as your car is a Gen 3, you may be better to search (using advanced search) the Gen 3 forums for the answer or/and post your question(s) there.

    Hope you can find your answers.
