Not sure if I am posting in the correct place, but I have a 2007 Prius. I just replaced the blower motor and now I have a red triangle when I turn the car on. No message is popping up, but I am not sure why I am getting this, I just replaced the hybrid battery about a month and a half ago so it can't be that. No other lights come on other than the red triangle.

Any chance you could read the trouble codes, or have them read? Otherwise we're just operating at the level of it-can't-be-X-because-I-assume-X-would-Y guesswork, which, probably, none of us here knows enough about the car's internals to credibly do.

Get a scantool capable of reading the HV pack modules on load. That should tell if your "newly" replaced pack is still OK.

Did youeave all the doors, and maybe the hatch open for loooooog time? If you did, you may have discharged the 12V battery. Test it with a voltmeter and see what you get.

Are you talking about the high voltage battery fan?Recheck the fan connections. Leaving it unplugged throws error codes and lights on the dash.

This morning when I got back into the car everything seemed fine. I'm not sure if I can still run the codes on it but I could try to see what it was.

It did take me about 2 hours to get the part in and out. My dad was thinking that the 12V battery was discharged, so he had me drive it around for awhile. No problems with it today.

No, the fan for the A/C and Heat. I don't think I'd trust myself enough with the fan for the HVB haha.

    welcome!

it's probably a good time to test the 12v, how old is it?

    Thank you!
It is a 2007, I've not had the red triangle since. However, my dad and I were afraid to try testing the battery because we were not sure how to do it and the instructions in the manual aren't very clear.

There is a jump point under the hood in the fuse box;).

Any other metal surface will do so you can get a reading:).

You could also check the battery in the back, but I’d start in the fuse box first ;).

Once you get the multimeter reading, let us know the result(y).

Update, ended up taking my car into the dealership to get the battery checked because it was free. The battery showed it was going to fail soon, so I ended up replacing it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not surprising, 11 years is almost unheard of in a 12v prius battery. all the best!(y)
