Had the triangle OD and check engine light come on

    I had the main issue and check engine light and all light yesterday.
    This morning I checked the diagnosis screen and battery reads 11.4. Should I change the battery or wait ??

    Charge up the battery first and test it. The batteries seem to last 5+ years. You probably have other issues not related to the 12v.

    Check the voltage with a voltmeter, car off. If it's still around 11.4 volts, I think you've found your problem, and that would be good: simple, and remedy is easy.

    Did not do anything today but drove about 5 -8 miles returning some dvd. After battery read as 12.7. willl see what i drops to by tomorrow.

    Change it......after checking the voltage when the vehicle is running (ready to drive).

    11.4 is bordering on stone cold dead.
    And yes I know that a really LOT of people don't understand that.

    Use a sealed deep cycle battery (Optima) Works great. I use it all my Pri'i (Prius's)
