Does anybody know the USB Audio (USB Stick audio file) limitations??

The only reference available from the manual is the system can only read 8 folder level deep and supported file formats.

There's no documentation on the number of files in a folder, number of folders, size of each file, etc.?

    Any ideas?

Ouch - no wonder I'm struggling to get a decent selection of music recognised. Only 255 files in each directory? Perhaps I can re-work my fidsift to work within that... And the European Navi manual says only 3,000 directories (page 61), not 9,999.

Does anybody else find that it re-orders playlists? Yes, I've double-checked that I'm in "normal play order" and not a shuffle, but it seems that my playlists still play in the wrong order. It may be in "first added" order - my suspicion is that it uses playlists as some sort of filter instead of an actual list of tracks to play, but I'm still investigating.
