Don’t you just hate the dust that accumulates almost instantly on these gloss surfaces?

When you try to remove it by microfiber cloth, cotton cloth and the like, it never quite gets every particle.

I have a great solution to that. Just keep a sheet of these in glove compartment.

Don’t know if this was posted before....but they are very effective on leaving not a trace.

  2. Nope, and a few particles will glide with the cloth and scratch the gloss anyway.

Besides, how do you keep particles (including your own dandruff) off the Swiffer pads, the box, the lid, your clothes, etc.?

Eventually, all dogs get tired of chasing their own tails. Might as well acknowledge that particles are inevitable.

I use Swiffer refill on my computer screen and everything else, I call it the "dust magnet", no more dust flying in the air when doing the dust cleaning.

    and

I "discovered" the use of Swiffers for this purpose on the second day we owned the Prime. As MASGRO notes, it works.

And, it's true that it does not get every single solitary micron-sized particles, but it does a pretty good job.

As for scratching the plastic surface -- just don't use the Swiffer to scrub! It's not a scouring pad!

Although the Prime's screen and plastic surfaces are reasonably hard, they can be scratched. However, the Swiffer works by its static-electric affinity for small particles, not for its mechanical ability to drag them around on the surface. A light touch is all it takes.

Greasy finger marks on the touch-screen and other controls are another matter entirely. Any suggestions?

For greasy finger marks, I use those silky cloth that comes with some tablets or computer accessories, or even eye-glasses cleaning cloth will do.
