    Evening,
Just a curiosity. How does the parking brake on a Gen4 Prius actuate? Does the pedal draw a cable? Which wheels are locked? Thanks

In all three earlier Prius generations, it pulls a cable acting on the rear wheels (a lever and strut between the brake shoes, gen 1 and gen 2, an interesting threaded cam arrangement inside the rear disc brake calipers, gen 3). Without knowing any more about gen 4 specifically, I'd assume it's similar to gen 3.

If you sign in to techinfo.toyota.com, the most interesting manual to go exploring first is the one called New Car Features Manual, which explains all kinds of stuff like that, specifically for your model.

Are you an architect? Or from Barcelona?

yes a cable. at least on my prime. i see no reason why normal gen 4 prius should differ. i saw it when i opened the center console to take pics of the wireless charger.

Indeed; cables actuate the right rear and left rear brake calipers, which have automatic adjustment mechanisms.

Thank you all for the response!
Chap...Just lucky enough to visit Barcelona and the stunning Sagrada Familia. (Sounds like you've been there.) Then we purchased a car colored "Barcelona Red". Both are fine works of engineering.
