Doesn't need to be sealed, as the connector itself is designed to be operable in the rain and snow. The door is basically an aesthetic cover, not an environmental seal because it doesn't need to be. If it did need to be then you'd have to run out whenever it started to rain, disconnect your car from the charger and close the door.

Since HD Radio was discussed earlier in this thread...

    Just discovered something new:
The Prius HD Radio receives sub-channels as well!
The HD Radio includes access to sub-channels/alternate channels if the radio station is broadcasting it.

I have the smaller 7" screen on the Plus.

For the first time yesterday, I noticed I had a choice of two broadcasting streams for the same FM frequency.

For those in the LA area, public radio station KPCC (89.3) apparently just started broadcasting dual channels (regular channel and sub channel) on the same 89.3Mhz FM frequency, if HD Radio is selected/on (if it's off, you just get the main 89.3 channel). But if HD Radio is turned on, then after a couple seconds of having tuned to KPCC, on the 7" Plus screen, next to the small HD Radio logo will appear a small "[1][2]". If you press that area, then you get a larger menu that lets you select between larger [1] and [2] buttons (I'm sure the 11" screen has something similar). With [1] being the primary program being broadcast, and [2] being a sub-channel broadcasting another program. Both had descriptions appear in text with what the programs were. I never noticed it before now, guess they just started. Didn't try any other stations yet, but for those in the LA area who want to test it out/see what I'm talking about, turn the HD Radio funciton to "on" and then tune into 89.3 (KPCC), wait a few seconds, and you'll see what I mean.

Even my 2015 Prius can tuned to sub-channels like HD1, HD2, etc.

Likes, How efficient it is, Being able to plug it in at ev chargers, How Smooth it is, doesn't look like a :cautious: PRIUS (No hate) just don't like the look!, being able to drive to Toronto and back without using too much gas/not having rage anxiety and the PHEV or ev community.
Dislikes, rear glass collects water in the curved middle, We have a green license plate and people at gas station give you weird looks.
Surprises, Even though ev motor is for efficiency it is fun to drive. Can do my commute and almost week on a charge.
    Dislike, ENTUNE! ADD APPLE CARPLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's purpose is to direct water out of your line of view. From the raised out part to the curved middle is confirmation that it is doing exactly what it was designed to do. That effectively cleans the window at the same time, a handy plus without having a wiper... which left quite a bit behind. That's a tradeoff I prefer rather than the streak of a clean area surrounded by dirty.

What specific function would you like? I listen to stuff through my phone via bluetooth, some using the screen on the car, others starting it using the phone. So, I genuinely don't know what's wanted.

There is SIRI Eyes Free in the Prime to use SIRI for certain phone commands (so you can either use the built-in voice recognition or SIRI to make a phone call for example)
