there is no "if he wins". The insurance company will always settle, because it's less expensive than going to court. That throws your driving record under the bus. And that's why we have two channel cameras (front & rear), because some people make a living doing the phony "he hit" me routine. They do this in teams, with their own phony special passenger (also "hurt") & chiropractor.

Same over here in UK. I am certainly no racist, but most of the culprits I've seen reported are recent immigrants from central Europe and beyond.

    Yup.
The good Lord thought I was not busy enough at work.
Last weekend, our tractor decided to run away and introduce itself to a tree.  More repair work... :(

    What kinda tractor you got?

We had a similar thing happen a couple of years back with our 1950’s Massey Harris Pony at my folks place:(.

Ended up damaging the front cross member and busting off the left headlight assembly.

Good thing we use it sparingly and don’t use it at night(y).

oh yea .... just meant to contrast how vintage, farming differs from the modern day corporate agro-business.

Not sure what year it is, but my mother-in-law's Farmall is a bit older. :D It only gets used for spraying the orchard or pulling the firewood wagon.

That looks like it might be a Model A, a predecessor of mine. Mine has a hydraulic lift, a slightly larger engine (123 cu. in. vs 118 cu. in.) and a facelift :D

Now that you mention it, I seem to remember my father-in-law sometimes referring to it as "the Model A."

My late uncle had three Fordson Majors. They hand cranked to start on gasoline then switched fuel to tractor vehicle oil (TVO) which I think was kerosene (paraffin oil).

    Two unsecured load stories:
My Dad was driving I 25 in Denver, and he said a tire came out of nowhere and hit just inches behind the top of the windshield. He had the mild dent and the rubber on the impact zone to back up his story.
My Mom was driving the same car on a frontage road alongside I 25. Someone towing a natural gas tank lost the tow link. The trailer and tank veered impacted and exploded sending a fireball skyward. Seeing that up ahead Mom panicked and turned left in front of an oncoming vehicle and got low speed t-boned. No one was hurt. The explosion made the local news. Mom's accident did not.
