I have had the Prius Prime (Premium) for 6+ months and put on ~ 5500 miles. I live in Greater Boston.

The charge that the battery has taken from a Chargepoint station has varied between 6.00 and 6.37 KwH.

The maximum EV range on a full battery that I have achieved has varied between low 20's (in deep winter) and ~ 30 miles right now in early May. During winter I used to keep the temperature in the car ~ 66 degrees F. During summer I tend to keep it ~ 70 degrees F. Rarely used the seat heaters.

    What are others experiencing?

Low 20's during the dead of winter here in Minnesota.

Low 30's now that spring has finally arrived. Woohoo! (y)

kWh needed for a full charge is uncertain, since I don't use up the entire capacity on my commute. I recharge at work and often stop at the grocery store where there are free chargers available.

Mid to upper 20's in the winter, mid to upper 30's and climbing with the warmer weather now. :)

I don't really know miles per charge because of my commute but I use one full charge and about 0.8 gallons of petrol to travel 89 miles.

If I was to guess 65 mpg in HV mode it works out to 37 miles EV

Random question, (but you’re from Minnesota so I respect your expertise haha)

How does it handle driving in the snow? I’m from seattle, so I’m more concerned about rain, but when it DOES snow, it’s a hassle since everywhere has 4 hills to drive up to get to

It works fine, no concerns with driving either of our Primes this winter.

    Here's one example I filmed...

Yes, but Seattle snow is much different than Minnesota snow. Minnesota snow is usually dry and not very slippery. Seattle snow is almost always wet snow, very slippery and very heavy (it will pull you out of your lane if you're not paying attention). Even the ice on the roads can be very different. I learned this when I moved from Vancouver B.C. to Edmonton Alberta. The tieups in Vancouver when it snows aren't because the drivers are bad, it's because the conditions are much slipperier. The drivers in both places are bad though. ;)

I know those in the south find it amusing, but there is not just one kind of snow, the Inuit have many words for it.

In spring, the snow in Minnesota changes to the messy stuff, wet and heavy.

Hey, this southerner knows all about snow variability from his Nordic skiing days - still have my set of waxes somewhere in the house. But then I grew up in the great white North :).

The maximum EV range on a full battery I have achieved so far is 36.6 actual miles driven on EV last summer. During winter my Guess-O-Meter was constantly showing low 20's miles but actual EV ranges were less than 20 miles most of times. With warmer weather, I am starting to see above 30 miles on Guess-O-Meter and actual EV range is getting pretty close to that range.

I'm in NYC. Got prime premium for 5 months now. 95% jamed expressway at 15mph daily commute. Full charge for 30 miles in winter. Now at 70 degree I got around 39 or 40 miles per charge. Only used gas when travel outside new York. The displayed mile per kwh is now 4.8
