I’ve been driving my Prius c since 2015 and can’t believe I just found this forum.

    Current additions:
    Slip-on exhaust pipe
    Fog lights
    Custom license plates
    Super bright reverse lights
    K&N air filter
    Conti premium contact 6
    Bosch wipers

Most of my add ons are purely cosmetic but I’m looking for performance parts now and would love to hear from you guys which will perform better.

    I’m looking to install:
Brembo 4 pot big brake kit
    Coilover (no idea which brand)
Audio system with good bass (I’ve removed the spare Tyre for this)
    Ultra racing strut bars
GT wing (like those on the Prius G)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Will post a picture of my C tomorrow.
    Thanks guys!

    Update:

    - Installed UR Strut Bars & ARB
    - Paid deposit for Force BBK
    - Upgraded to Hertz speakers & subwoofer

Still looking for a good coilover, anyone?

Did the front strut bar make a difference? I noticed a significant difference in the rear strut bar. It eliminated the understeer completely... but now I feel like the front end is lifting too much and I'm verging on oversteer, lol.

It did, for me anyway. With the front and rear im cornering much better now.

Just need to find the right suspension and everything’ll be perfect.

I just did the Cusco one a week back, and it made a huge difference. Both in cornering and just keeping cowl shake down during rough patches.

I haven't looked into specifics for each brand yet, but there are quite a few options right now. For me I would be looking for a spring rate around 3kg/mm in the rear and at probably around 4k/mm up front. Assuming this is for a street car. The problem with a lot of the options is that they are manufactured for multiple chassis that aren't hybrid and don't have the battery weight out back. A quick search around has me saying take a look at the Tein options. I've used their stuff on 4 cars over the years and always been pleased with them. Although, BLITZ, HKS, Tanabe, Cusco, RSR, and others all have options as well! lol

Is there an actual front sway bar? Or is the only option the tower brace?

Cusco makes one, but will most likely have to be imported through Cusco USA. Amazon Japan shows it, but won't ship to the US due to size. I think Tanabe makes one as well, but I haven't looked.

I have considered converting the rear to disc. But it'll have to wait a bit more. Front brakes alone cost me 2k.

And yes! The car was originally red haha. The current blue is just temporary, that's why I didn't spray the interior.
Gonna do a blue-pink mix next year.

Wow that's a whole lot of brake for this car! I'm a little envious to say the least.

Yes they do. I'm proud to say this is one of the mods that look good and feels good! Stopping distance has reduced significantly for me.

I'm sure yours is coming soon!

That's saying a lot since the stock brakes do a very good job of stopping this car. I'm gonna look into it.
