Not the cleaning design in terms of rear camera mount (see top right photo) but a digital rear view mirror is available as a dealer-installed accessory. Y59,400 with tax

I wonder if it is auto-dipping or can be done manually? I find the Gen 4 auto-dipping can be much too slow to react - then, when the monster SUV which triggered it has gone, it can take a while to resume normal operation.

I think in most cases, a manually operated rear-view mirror would be better.

Another issue - last week, I had a child in the back seat, and where I would normally dip my mirror to glance downwards at the child - I couldn't do that with the auto-dipping mirror. But a camera mirror definitely wouldn't do that either.

I'm not sure. I'm trying to recall the time I drove the Chevrolet Bolt EV with the digital mirror - The pickup/drop off area for test drives is underground at the auto show car park. I don't recall the headlights of the trailing vehicle to be glaring in the mirror but I was more focused on the driving experience.

Note that there is an "off" function so you can use it as a regular daytime mirror (no dipping).

The slow reaction of the auto-dipping is due to the rear spoiler. I've had the same mirror in a Camry and it works fine.
