    You are correct. That plug only has two wires but I don’t know what it controls.

    Where did u plug the wire? If i were to make a wildguess is may be either constant power, or ACC so it comes out when the car starts?If its plugged into the OBD2 input then i bet thats what it is. I would then just cut off the connector and steal power from one of the interior fuses, so the OBD2 input was free. From what ive read those gear shift controls takes alot more power then the normal gear shifter, i wanted to get one of those for my 3rd gen aswell, until i saw the price... lol.

    There are two plugs. One plugs into the same plug as the oem shifter and the second into the OBD plug.

    Then im pretty sure its for power, ACC for the motor that brings the shifter in and out for everytime u start the car.

    Great photos! Great work. Way beyond my capabilities. I think I'd better just stick to folding my mirrors by hand. :cool:
    (Off topic, but is there ANY factory sound insulation on that door assembly? I don't see none!)

    Oh, what did I do to my Gen4? Today? I CUSSED it!! Another topic for another thread.

    I didn’t mod the Prius this time. But I used it to pick up a brand new Nissan cvt trans. Haha

    Hi guys !

    After some years of following PriusChat and two Prius bought (2 & 3), please welcome the latest one.

    I'm very very happy with it, so comfortable, could drive it for hours !

    I had no big setup, just tinted rear windows, and black inserts with 17' stock wheels.

    Added 35mm spacers front and rear. And lowered on RSR down springs. This should hold me over until I get coilovers and wheels.
