    Just want to share my trunk bumper guard that I got from AliExpress, pretty easy to install with the included double side 3M tape :) 20180625_200438.jpeg

    I got the same one back in February. Water and dirt would get under the pad and stay there after a while and then the adhesive sticker gave out last month and part of the pad wouldn't stay in place. I ripped it off this month and, despite having gone through a couple car washes, There's still a mess there.

    Yep, I totally believe you.

    For this type of application, double sided tape is Not the way to go. Here's the best solution for long lasting results:

    3M General Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive ~$6 Shipped:

    Ugh that sucks. I'll have to see how long this would last for me and probably reapply with the 3M spray then as Rob43 mentioned. Thank you for the insight.
