2010 Toyota Prius II cooling fans not running at any temperature and air conditioning bad

    My 2010 Prius cooling fans dont ever run. A/c doesnt blow cold air even at the lowest temp. setting. Changed compressor, nothing. changed coolant temperature sensor, nothing. the cooling fans run once disconnected from the temperature sensor and circuit completed using a paper clip or wire. Relays were checked and are all ok. All fuses are ok. Freon has been put and emptied several times, no change to A/C. No engine light on. what is the problem?

    If the cooling fans not running was something you noticed early in this whole process, I would have started there, with the repair manual and the wiring diagram, and just worked on finding out why that was, and whether the A/C performed better with it fixed.

    The best bang for the buck comes in starting that process of diagnosis before just repeatedly swapping parts and freon. Even so, it's maybe never too late to start.

    Did you put in the correct levels of freon and the correct oil?

    did you put freon on yourself? nutzaboutbolts said he personally get shops to do it with proper tools, it goes way beyond than hooking up a bottle to a hose and fill up with freon, they use a machine to git r' done.
