How much do Dealers charge ''for labor'' to install HV battery

    There will be as many different amounts as there are answers.

    EACH dealer charges what HE charges.

    It is not necessarily dependent on other dealers or shops.

    The "book" says 5.5 hours (for a new HV battery install where the ECU from the old one is transferred) so just multiply by the dealership hourly rate.

    One reason it's hard to quantify: dealership install bumps the warranty from one year to three. I seem to recall a number like $800.
