Why does everyone here recommend a corolla?

I wen on that site and theirs alot of Corrollas. Most are at $7000 + but theirs 5 that are a really good deal like a 2010 for $7000.
The car market is tanked. Alot different than the last time I looked 3 years ago. I'm back to Corollas.

I never see any on used car lots. And haven't shopped them in a while.

I now wish I had bought one. This Prius is too complicated (for me), too expensive to repair (for me), and all I see on this website is Prius problems. It's depressing. And the small gas savings and the "green" factor are not worth the extra expense of the Prius (to me).

I hope they don't screw up the new remodeled Corolla when It comes out in 2020? But I'm sure there will still be plenty of 2018s & 2019s available.

The extra $10,000 I paid for my Prius, would have bought me 20 years of gas for the less expensive Corolla.

We had a late-model Corolla loaner, when the Prius was in the shop after a minor dust-up: I hated the feel of it.

We wish you bought one too. You sound too much like the user Coast Criuser who complained himself into a forum ban.

Nah nah, he's not that guy. And that was a stitch-up, c'mon: overuse of "we"?

Actually, the average yearly repair cost for the prius is 423$ and the Corolla 367$, that a whole 56$’s a year, before looking at fuel cost’s.

BTW, you catch more bee’s with honey than vinegar;)

You don’t think there is at least one other person who agrees with me?

The Corolla and the Camry have really good resale.

But all I see on the road now is the Hyundai Sonata and Elantra. I rented an Elantra once and it was a buzz bomb had to drive it hard to keep up but the Sonata has more power. It is the most popular car in the Tampa Bay Area based on my head count.

I've been wondering about that lately. Then I got a flyer in the mail a couple days ago. I forgot which dealer it was, but they are leasing Elantras for $99/month and Sonatas for $129. I should have looked at the terms, but I'm sure they weren't allowing enough miles to make it worth my while even if I wanted one of them.

THe Elantra would be great around town small and zippy. For $99 lease you can’t beat that.

Jerry you live here the Hyundais are everywhere right?

Yup. You can't swing a dead cat around your head without hitting one. My next door neighbor even has a Sonata.

At that price, they're almost like a disposable razor. :)
