I have had my Prius since November of 2016 but had to replace the main cell battery and 12v which took me up until 3mos ago to get my car up and running with the additional issue of having to go to my local Toyota dealership and getting a new fuel pump and tank... (my pocket has spent well over 3k) now that my vehicle is finally driving I have noticed that the air won’t blow and the dealership keeps saying the car is fine which I feel is a bunch of bs to keep me coming back to have 1 issue looked at while they take another 110.00 out my pocket to “diagnose” the issus, I have stated the air won’t blow and they say nothings wrong but when I turn the car on the compressor doesn’t make a sound.. the inside is blowing for sure which to me indicates that something must be wrong else where. They say my vehicle is fine and see no other issues but I need a second opinion on what else could be wrong.

I've had problems with the vents that blow on me not working in my '07, especially after a long Winter when vents are always blowing at windshield and floor. Usually, after repeatedly starting car, while AC/Fan is set to work with vents that blow directly on me as the only vents turned on it starts to work again. The big challenge to fixing these problems is that it costs a fortune / way too many hours / as much as ten hours to take dashboard apart, do repairs and then put back together. But a Toyota Stealership is the last place you want to go for a problem like this. Find a local hard working and honest Automotive A/C service in your neighborhood to fix this one if it doesn't fix itself.

Have you checked if the system is low on gas?
If no, check for leaks, and fix, then recharge em.
    Are you a DIYer?

I am a DIYer and I haven’t noticed any leaks anywhere on my vehicle.

How did you check the leaks?
If there aren't leaks, then there might be some kind of system failure somewhere

We ran the vehicle and watched under the hood and ground for any leakage. Nothing. They said I have to replace some fuses due to the OBDII port not reading. Other than that everything checks out. I feel like the fan might not be working. Didn’t hear it kick on when I turn it on

You can't check for leaks that way. You got to use some set of manifold gauges, or recharge the system, and see if the AC system works.

    Here's a simple test again:
Engage the AC system, and pop open the hood. Listen for humming noise coming from the electric compressor. If you can't, use a tech stream software, to view the power consumption from the AC compressor.
