A little off topic but I’ve been to a few dealerships this past weekend and was told Toyota is suspending sales of All Prius(s) until they resolve the recall matter. Just had another dealership confirm this via email. No one has a timetable and said they will notify me when they can sell. Anyone else experiencing this?

So looking at 2018 Prius Prime Advanced, Blue magnetism with moonstone interior.

    MSRP 34.6k
Price: 29.5 plus $75 doc fee and TTL for indiana. Using $3500 rebate and my CU financing at 3%.

I got some offers at 29k to 28.8k, but different color and dealers had $499 doc fee so a wash.

So you got your advanced for 29.5 with taxes plus doc fee? Or plus taxes?

And the $3500 credit is from?

Still working out final details. $3500 is Toyota manufacturers rebate. And of course the $4500 tax rebate. 29.5k is before tax, title and licensing

I'd had another dealer quote me $27.5k for 2017 advanced, so I may just go with it for 2k cheaper.

Yes, those Toyota cash back are region specific. Now till 10/1 in NY/NJ region has $3500 cash back. If you are planning to purchase, wait for a while till 2019 model starts to show up. Last years 2017 model cashback went up to $5000 when 2018 models started to come in. You can check regional incentive at http://www.buyatoyota.com and putting in appropriate region zip code (use 10001 for NY).

wow 5k cashback. I am most certainly wait. Do you know if the prices get a bit higher due to the new incentive? say its 30k out the door for a premium and you get the 3500 cash plus federal, but when its 5k cash back the out the door price changes for 31-32K. your still doing better but I was curious if it works like that?

no, it doesn't change. dealers still want to unload them as fast as possible.

the only thing that could change it is demand, and that is fairly steady.
