Is there a clear way to see the charge status of the plug-in engine?

If you have an Advanced the Entune Apps “ Charge Management” is a good one.

Thanks.. I haven't yet downloaded the Entune Apps. (And it sure has bad reviews in the Android Play Store.)

Right over the speedometer there is a very clear meter showing how full the gas tank is. I wish there was the same for the charge status?

You can display the EV charge in miles or percentage left. Maybe that’s what you are looking for.

I downloaded the Entune apps, and it says I must have a safety connect account. What is that?

The first thing you need is a Prime Advanced. The other trims don't have the built-in cell phone to support the remote access to the car. The easiest way to get a safety connect account is pressing the SOS button in the car and telling the operator that there is no emergency and you want to register for safety connect. Safety Connect is like GM OnStar, providing emergency response in case of an accident, but is also used by the remote access applications.

That's an incredibly vague thing to ask. Coming from a new member who followed up with "I have not yet noticed it." and a profile indicating ownership of a 2012 Prius Three, we need to ask more questions.

My interpretation is you are asking about how to see when the gas engine is charging the hybrid battery. Not sure why, but that is something a newbie may be curious to know.

Do you own a plug-in model?

I never owned a Prius Three. I just bought a 2018 Prius Prime Advanced, and am just starting to learn how to use it. Thank you.

Try your owners manual, settings, split display. You can also get EV range on the HUD if you have a HUD.

Please correct your profile. That's what it says, hence the confusion.

there is a display with a battery icon, showing how many miles of estimated charge you have. just toggle through until it appears.
you don't need entire unless you want to see it on your phone while away from the car.

I am confused.o_O Is OP talking about battery charging when plugged in or battery charge remaining during driving?

The OP alluded to “plug-in” but, yes, the question was vague.
I have a Advanced so the Charge Management app works when not driving. The HV Info MID display can display remaining HV mileage graphically, as miles or a percentage when actually driving.
    Lots of solutions.

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about this:

I have the Prime plus, and have lost my most useful display. That is the display that shows an amount of charge when pressing the brake pedal going downhill. I have tried everything. Is there something that must be on to get the proper display? TY
