    Is that attached to the cover where the ICE starter would be on the non-Prius engine? That’s a neat place to put it.

    From a scale of 1-10, how irritating is that stabilazing pole thingy for back seat passengers? :LOL:

    Neglected?..:cool::)

    That's a turd gen which just had it's 100 and 120k service vitals at 94k, including the non-Toyota endorsed EGR circuit clean to ensure head gasket integrity. The car previously had transaxle drain/fill at 60k, and is on a 5k oil change interval since new, Denso filter/TGMO. It doesn't burn oil and I'm betting it never will, or at least not to any degree.

    The superhuman @Raytheeagle agreed to take this on in addition to his crazy work and personal life obligations, and my daughter drove 7 hours each way from Bend, OR. She understands the importance of maintaining the EGR circuit and knew a trustworthy wrench spinner was key.

    Dirty engine bay for sure. And dirty exterior and likely filthy interior. The car spends a lot of it's time accessing back country all over the northwest, pulls double duty as a tent and regularly sees terrain that most Prii never will. KRE PER it is not:)...

    All that said, I too cringe to see it this way!:eek::D Here's a pic of the engine bay back when I maintained it before it headed west 15 months ago. When it returns to the northeast in another year or so, I will set to work making it look this way once again.

    Added vent visors tonight. Bought off Wish. Half priced from the brand name ones. Five days to ship. I like the way they turned out.

    Glad to help;).

    I was still getting dirt out of my ears the next day after I dropped the splash shield and it released a pile on my head :eek:.

    The salt belt corrosion on the various nuts was the largest challenge:(.

    Makes me glad to be in a non winter salt free environment (y).

    Using my Topone OBD and Car Scanner app, I did an impromptu 1/4 mile time. Here are the results. This was after a short 2 mile warm up drive on a nearly depleted battery. Not as fast 0-60 as I have done, but would have been better had there been more juice in the battery.

    Nice, great job! It's right over the battery, i got the prebuilt enclosure from Sonicelectronix, it's a 10" NVX but puts out a decent amount of BUMP.

    I saw that 10in one but I utilize the storage on the other side often. Also wanted to fit a 12in sub instead. I hardly open the battery area cover so that’s the area where I wanted it to go. Here’s the progression on the sub build.

    Agreed. I replaced the oem one a year ago with a blaupunkt brand head unit but I hated the fact that it will only sync one Bluetooth device. Wife drives to UCLA from Palmdale 3-4 days a week and It’s annoying that when I drive I have to use a dongle to convert from lightning to 3.5mm and connect to the head unit that way.

    Been super busy lately so this is it.

    Slammed my Prii. On Tein H.tech, then added roughly 400-500 lbs worth of Miso and sauce as cargo. No rubbing. IMG_20180921_133343.jpeg
