    Another ICE parked at the City of Grand Rapids Michigan Charge Point and blocked the chargers.

    This happens all the time.

    why cant you pull in front of the offenders in the parking spot reserved for you and your EV and plug into the blocked charger anyway? if they come out and get pissed just say "hey im charging and cant move. you could have left had you not parked where i needed to charge."
    (this is why i dont want a Tesla. i would be a HUGE donkey and probably get shot here in CA. LOL)

    If they wanted only efficient vehicles there, they should have stated that.

    We did a road trip in the Deep South past couple weeks & stayed at a Holiday Inn Express for a couple nights. There were 7 Tesla high power wall Chargers & 1 Clipper Creek. (wow!)

    None of the spots have any "no parking" or "plug-ins only while charging signage" . I asked the manager about it,who said prospective users that know of their EVSE's can call ahead to make arrangements to use them - & only then do they periodically send a runner out to cone off a stall, once available.
    You can see only one empty spot, where we just pulled out. Immediately after, it was quickly filled by a 7th ice. No ill-will to the ice, because they're were no signs.

    From the Hotel's perspective, having the EVSE's is an attraction for plug in owners, but the those numbers aren't high enough to potentially annoy non-plug in customers by blocking off the parking.
