All I need is the cruise control assembly and the wire to connect, correct ? No brake switch required. Is it just plug and play assuming I purchase the correct assembly?

    I have a 2012 Prius One.

Sounds too simple. I would think trading or selling and buying a 2+ would be a lot cheaper and a lot less headaches! How long have you owned? I would think you would need to install the unit under the hood and run wiring and install the stalk/switch on the steering wheel/column, but I imagine that the system ties into other body systems

According to these instructions it is as simple as plugging it into the steering wheel. Apparently the functionality is built into the ECU regardless of whether it comes with the stalk.

I would like some feedback before I pull everything apart. Just double checking to see what everyone's experiences have been.

EDIT: Won't let me add the link but the PDF is available if you Google search Prius 2010 cruise control install. It's a PDF hosted by PriusChat

Unbelievable! I stand corrected and I learned something new today! You got this! Did you order the parts yet? Looks like for a little over $10 and 20 minutes of your time you can have factory cruise control! My mind is blown!
