OK, so which one of you mounted a Vulcan cannon?

Check out how the wipers pop up from the air displacement of the cannon.

From what I've read, that Vulcan cannon fires at 6000 rounds/min and that little burst was like $500 ammo cost.

Apparently, the car belongs to Black Rifle Coffee.

I definitely could use that upgrade. Think it could go through a car wash?

Even more impressive is what must be the super photoshopped video on YouTube:

It is an M61 Vulcan, and it fires at 6,600 rounds/min (I was off by 10%) at $27/round.

    Does this impact rear seating?

Only if the rear passengers mind holding the ammo.

Actually, this the the opposite of the "$100 hammer" phenom.
The military buys ammo in bulk, so most of their rounds are significantly cheaper than pricing for specialty shops, Hollywood, collectors, etc.
I do not know what the procurement cost is for a 20-mm "live" (PGU-28/B) round versus the practice rounds that are used in 99-percent of training with this weapon, but the practice rounds are probably only a few bucks apiece - and by "practice" I mean that they're "just bullets" rather than semi-armor piercing, explosive-tipped bullets.
I do know that the PGU-30s (practice rounds) come in two flavors - regular and incendiary.
Unless your Vulcan cannon uses something like an F16 as an aiming system, the incendiary rounds serve as a means to aim the weapon....so the practice rounds incorporate this feature....HOWEVER (comma!) remember that barrel wear is increased by the incendiary rounds....and there are six barrels!

Even at $5 a round though, the M61 Vulcan cannon is like a Dodge Challenger.
FEEDING it is more expensive than buying it.

    Gotta LOVE America!

We have a nation where people who want to ban weapons can live in peace and harmony (mostly) with people who mount 20-mm six-barrel, air-cooled, electrically fired Gatling-style rotary cannon..........on Priuses, financed by an artisan coffee company, who goofs on hipsters.....

....and people actually doubt the notion of American exceptionalism.....

  14. I came here expecting coffee... :coffee:

Good enough for them to be pretty profitable, it would seem.
I've never had any myself, but if anybody from the company reads this and wants to kick a pound or two my way for a comprehensive and unbiased assessment of their brew - I'm in!
I believe that I'm qualified to judge non-hipster coffee.....

I'll even test drive the G2.5 if they want me to.

Well, by that assessment, Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds coffee must also be good enough! LOL... I don't even consider Starbucks coffee to be good enough. My hurdle is much higher. :coffee:

Thinking of buying this for my home roasting hobby, but US distributor is currently out of stock. Aillio – For the love of coffee

    Wow.
That certainly takes coffee to the next level.

I used to be an uber-coffee snob, but my geekiness stopped at the burr-grinder stage of coffee swag.
As I type this, I'm sitting at work listening to my Mk-1, Mod-0 Keurig process some Aldi discount coffee into my CPO mug.
I have a "Mr Coffee" French Press and some more "bought on sale" ground coffee as a back-up.

    Sepmer Paratus!

    You see...
I grew up in Burbon country....and yes.
There's NOTHING like sipping a nice small-batch, single barrel bourbon.....but if you're gonna guzzle the stuff?
.....reach for a bottle of the cheap brand!
    ;)

    Pro-tip:
Evan Williams.....and don't be ashamed to use a little water and ice while you develop a taste.
People who insist that Bourbon should never-EVER touch ice, and will only grudgingly allow a little water are wrong-headed in their thinking.
EW is normally a 'middle-to-bottom shelf' brand but it punches WELL above its weight in quality.
Taste is a YMMV thing - but bourbon insiders insist that you could slap a different label on it and sell it for $50 a bottle and nobody would batt an eye.

Coffee is EVEN MORE like that, since there is usually only one ingredient......

Just occurred to me that the cannons need to point the other way.
    No worries of tailgaters then.

I'll bet that the muzzle blast would also serve as aux-propulsion!

Instaed of miles per gallon, miles per gun burst!

My friend roasts his own coffee and I'll tell ya what! There is absolutely nothing you can by in any coffee shop that tastes better than fresh home roasted coffee. I am not a coffee drinker any more (I like it, but it does not like me back), but when I visit my friend I will have his brew because it is really the very best coffee I have ever had, and I used to be a coffee snob myself.
