Just like GM, the company that is great at building junk cars and making coolant leaking engines, uses? You know, the company that crushed all their NON LIQUID COOLED EVs just to replace them with ones that have the same coolant their junk gasoline powered cars leaked who knows how much coolant into the environment.

In my opinion, the only reason GM uses liquid cooling is so Bolts and Volts can turn into POSs in a few years. Teslas are bigger and have more range than Bolts and don't have liquid cooling.

You may want to double check as the Tesla battery tear-downs I've seen clearly show the coolant tubing.

if I or any honest person were in his shoes, I would have said the Leaf gets 70 miles on a good day - if it's not cold or you're going uphill - or going
    75 mph.

iduno - by making overheating long range golf carts? Seems like all that proved, was how desperate prospective ev drivers were to have anything ev. Isn't that why the model 3 has blown its sales to smithereens?

I think it was more they gave up on hybrids, and went looking for a market without competition.

Next conspiracy theory, the hydrogen label framed him, because the Nissan FCEV ran on ethanol.

Had it not been for Tesla, they might have had a chance.

I had a 2015 Leaf for 3 years while I waited for the Tesla M3 to arrive. I typically got 90-100 miles per charge and I really liked the car. Zero problems and it worked well. Certainly not in the same league as the M3...but close to half the price as well. For me the only negative thing was that the dealers weren't and aren't really interested in the car.

It is a common fault with more than a few dealers and the Southeast Toyota region. I suspect there will be no 2019 RAV4 hybrids at the local dealers.

Strange as may seem, isomers are one reason why I avoided organic chemistry. Ordinary chemistry is not immune from isomers but theirs tend to be more related to chirality than isomer.

I once read a science fiction, short story that claimed life on earth sprang from a nasal discharge that was stirred in one direction ... a feature often found in our biological chemistry. I thought it was hilarious but it also contributed to my aversion to organic chemistry.

    Imagine a chemistry that requires:
    • specific reagents to detect and separate
    • polarized light to quantify the quantities
    • fractional distillation
    Bob Wilson

ps. Only Japanese legal practices are more easily understood than organic chemistry.
