Listen......ALL the evidence points to you NOT even having that feature.

And even if you do, it is just a simple "timer" kind of reminder.
If it does come on, there is no reason to panic. Just ignore it.....as long as necessary......or forever.

If it does not ever come on, this whole discussion is just a waste of time.

On the North American PiP, the kph/mph button in low and to the left of the steering wheel, near the hood release. But my guess is that you don't have either the reminder or the button.

    Hi!
Looks like the "Maintenance required" indicator is not present in my car.
I've been driving for a while and nothing pooped out so I guess I'm in the clear :)
    Thanks everybody for help!

Canadian cars don't have the maintenance alert either. I think I prefer it that way; the alert is mainly a cause for consternation and confusion.

This is a common refrain from me, but anyways: Honda has an alert called Maintenance Minder, that is so much more. First, it's not just an odometer counter; it apparently monitors various stat's in addition to odometer reading, and counts down in percent to next service.

And when that service comes: it displays an alpha/numeric code that you can look up in the Owner's Manual, which explains what's needed, no more/less.
