The Inverter pump started making noise (running) while driving from time to time and finally failed! After replacing it, it started running while I drive sometimes! I think this excessive running is going to make the new pump fail as well! As far as I know the inverter pump is supposed to run only at the ready condition and stop after it. Does anyone have experience with this sort of issue?

it should run the whole time the car is 'ready'. otherwise, you'll fry your inverter

The inverter pump should run whenever the car is IG-ON or READY. That pump is located behind the driver's headlight assembly. It sounds like an aquarium pump and is very quiet.

The engine coolant heat recovery system pump should run for a few seconds upon startup and shutdown. This pump is located in front of the front left tire, in the wheel well, and is very noisy.

Which pump are you actually concerned about?
